Floating bread will work well on warmer days here, while meat and pellet fishing hard on the bottom, either in open water or the margins will work when the sun refuses to shine. Away from the carp scene, maggot and caster will catch loads of roach, rudd, orfe and tench on either pole or wagglers presented at around 2-3ft deep. A heavy stream of feed is generally a good way to go about keeping the fish in your swim in the warmer months, but obviously anglers should be a little more cautious in the cooler weather. Keepnets are permitted now that the closed season has passed.
