Ultra Moist Hookers at Bank End

The Cats and Dogs Ultra Moist Hooker is a ready-to-use pellet that requires no pumping or preparation and can be used straight from the tub. They now come in nine flavours and can be used for pole, waggler or feeder fishing. The size available in the range is 6mm and are great for hair-rigging or side-hooking when Method feeder fishing.

At Bank End Fisheries my approach is with the pole to make up the bulk of the weights. I have been using the 6mm UM hooker pellets, I keep some on my side tray in the original tub. If it is really hot I put a small amount of pellets in a small Bait Box with just enough water to cover them, I then seal the original tub and put it out of the sun.

Feed-wise, I have been potting in a 6mm ready prepared expander feed pellets I feed directly our at 6mm and feed a margin at 3m and directly in front at 1m. Recently the new UM 6mm halibut and pineapples flavours have been doing the trick, whilst alternating between the three areas.
